- The Department must confirm Occupational Injuries insurance coverage; self-employment is not normally covered.
- Medical evidence must confirm incapacity for work.
- Claims should normally be made within six weeks; a late claim needs Department review.
Important: A 15–19% Disablement assessment is generally a gratuity calculated by the Department, so SupportCheck deliberately does not invent that lump sum. Apply promptly: late claims can lose payment.
