Evidence and limits

Rule fuel-2026.1 · effective 1 January 2026 · checked 8 September 2026. Under-66 thresholds are €499.30 single, €698.70 for a couple with a partner under 66 and €767.70 where the partner is 66+. Enhanced 66+ thresholds are €534 single and €1,068 couple.

The capital disregard is €20,000 under age 66 and €50,000 from age 66. Some payments and household arrangements have special disregards, so those are not guessed here.
